Your Beta key is your ticket into the active Beta playtesting program and ensures that you can join us for the exclusive in-game Beta events leading up to the game launch – including the "Battle of the Legends" in-game battle just prior to the commercial release.

What if I pre-order and send in my receipt today?
The next batch of Beta keys will be sent out on January 4, 2011. To be sure you receive one of the Beta keys going out on January 4, you must submit a valid pre-order receipt and email address through the submission form on this page by January 2, 2011 at 11:59pm PT. Those who submit a valid pre-order receipt and email address in time will be eligible to participate in our beta-ending event, "Battle of the Legends." Please be aware, just pre-ordering the game is not enough to qualify you for a beta key, you must submit a copy of your DCUO pre-order receipt - as we have no knowledge of your pre-order or your valid email address without it.

"Battle of the Legends" will rage all day on the last day of Beta, threatening to destroy the entire universe. You will have the chance to be part of it and experience a once in a lifetime battle fighting alongside or against the legendary DC Universe icons. The in-game "Battle of the Legends" is based on the battle staged in the DCUO cinematic featuring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, The Joker and other famous DC superheroes and villains.
