One of the jewels of the planet Krypton, Argo City was brought to Earth by Supergirl’s father Zor-El in a desperate attempt to remake Earth in Krypton’s image. After a climactic battle between father and daughter, the city sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
Sunstone was an integral mineral on Krypton, used in the construction of buildings and machines as well as vast data processing and storage facilities. Most of Argo was built upon a foundation of Sunstone, produced in refineries throughout the city.
Formerly a research facility used by Zor-El, this lab has been repurposed by the Sinestro Corps member Kryb to pursue her devious plans of conquest – specifically, the production of an army of super-soldiers loyal only to her.

Supergirl
The Girl of Steel and Woman of Tomorrow, Kara Zor-El of Krypton is best known as Supergirl. She strives for truth and justice, but often feels eclipsed by her cousin Kal-El.
Krypto
The Last Dog of Krypton, Krypto has been a loyal – if occasionally mischievous – companion to members of the House of El like Superman and Supergirl. Some say he has the sharpest senses on Earth, and his skills at tracking even impress the Batman.
Kryb
A nefarious member of the Sinestro Corps, the fearsome Kryb has long pursued a deadly vendetta against the Guardians and their Green Lantern Corps. She dreams of leading a force without peer to finally achieve victory over her hated foes.
Dex-Starr
Formerly a Terran housecat known as Dexter, he became a rage-fueled member of the Red Lanterns after a pair of thugs tossed him off the Brooklyn Bridge. He is seldom far from the side of his new master, Atrocitus – the leader of the Red Lantern Corps.
