Season's Greedings!

Winter has returned to Gotham City and Metropolis, and with it, Larfleeze’s annual holiday crime spree. The Season's Greedings event runs from December 2, 2025, through December 29, 2025, bringing four full weeks of festive missions, new rewards, updated event systems, and snowy surprises throughout the cities.

Players will confront the Orange Lantern of Avarice as he hoards stolen gifts and power rings for himself. Whether you are recovering goods as a Hero or destroying them as a Villain, the coldest seasonal of the year is back and bigger than ever.

Seasonal Rewards

Players who participate throughout the event can earn:

• Mogo Acorn Supply Box (x20) – Once per Account
• Ally: Mister Freeze (Level 4) – Once per Character
• Skill Point Token – Once per Character

Mister Freeze Ally

Introducing a brand new ally, Mister Freeze! The icy-hearted villain joins the ally roster as the featured event reward for Season’s Greedings 2025. This marks our first villain ally since General Zod in 2023, bringing a chilling twist to the winter event.

Mister Freeze’s abilities focus on shield synergy and supercharge enhancement, making him an ideal partner for Ice users and tank players who rely on survivability and crowd control.

What's New?

This year’s Winter Seasonal event introduces several quality-of-life improvements and structural updates designed to make progression smoother, mission tracking clearer, and seasonal encounters easier to find. Here’s what’s new for 2025:

Currency Adjustments

Holly Leaf rewards have been rebalanced to better distribute currency between open-world activity and instanced content.

Daily Journal Mission rewards have been adjusted from 6 Holly Leaves to 4.
Alert rewards have increased from 4 Holly Leaves to 8.

These changes create a more even flow of currency regardless of which content players prefer to run each day.

New Winter Seasonal Hubs

Dedicated Winter Seasonal Hubs have been added to both Metropolis and Gotham City. Players can travel to these locations directly through the Event Menu. Each hub provides convenient access to mission givers, vendors, and event-related services, streamlining the overall seasonal experience.

Season’s Greedings Daily Mission Updates

The daily mission structure has been refined to improve clarity and completion flow:

• Players must now return to Hal Jordan (Heroes) or Sinestro (Villains) to finalize the mission.
• Missions can be turned in at the Metropolis Seasonal Hub, Gotham City Seasonal Hub, or the House of Legends.
• The final mission step now automatically completes after speaking with the NPC, eliminating unnecessary backtracking during the last stage.

Enhanced Map Overlays

Finding seasonal encounters is now significantly easier thanks to expanded and optimized map overlays.

• Metropolis: Twelve map overlays highlight the most active coin-collecting encounter areas.
• Gotham City: Eight overlays guide players through the primary mission stages and most reliable encounter zones.

These overlays prioritize regions with the highest encounter density. While additional encounters still exist outside of these highlighted areas, the emphasis on high-yield regions minimizes screen clutter and ensures faster mission completion. Increased spawn counts within these zones further enhance accessibility and pacing throughout the event.

Completing these activities rewards Holly Leaves, the seasonal currency used to purchase items from the Winter Vendor.

Base Invitation: Mister Freeze

Players can now invite Mister Freeze into their personal base. The visiting version of the cryogenic scientist brings his signature cold wit and mournful devotion to Nora straight to your living space.

NEW: Ally Legion System

Introducing the Ally Legion System, a new account-wide ally management feature that allows players to unlock and share Allies across multiple characters. With this system, players can now bind a Legendary-tier Ally to a single character or to their entire account using Legion Tribute tokens, giving more flexibility and reducing duplicate leveling.

Unlocked Allies will be immediately available and will always match the Affinity Rank of the highest-ranked Ally of that type on the account. This feature also includes updates to the Allies UI to improve readability and functionality, making it easier to view ability text, unlock options, and manage bound Allies directly within the interface.

Ally Legion Tributes are now available in the Marketplace. Use them to unlock and sync Allies across all your characters. To celebrate, we’re gifting all players AND members 250 Ally Legion Tributes to get started. Players can also obtain additional Legion Tributes through the Marketplace, and 1000 Ally Legion Tributes have been added as a reward option in the 2025 Campaign.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Before you spend your LEGION TRIBUTE GIFT, please log into every character to make sure your Ally menu shows the correct highest rank for each Ally.

  • Active players have automatically had their highest-ranked Allies applied across all characters.

  • Players who have not logged in since August 20, or who returned after November 18 following a lapse since August 20, must manually log into each character for the Ally menu to update.

  • If your highest-ranked Allies still aren’t appearing, logging into all characters will ensure everything displays correctly.

• The Campaign 2025 UI is currently under review and will reflect these changes in the coming days.

Ally Legion System Overview

The Legion System lets you share your Legendary-tier Allies across your account by binding them to either a single character or your entire account using Legion Tribute tokens.

• Legion Tribute tokens can be purchased from the Marketplace or directly through the Ally UI.
• Tokens are an Account Bound currency, shared across all your characters.
• Tokens are sold in bundles, so you can buy as many as you need for multiple unlocks.

Binding Options
You can choose between two ways to share your Allies:

• Unlock to Character: Lower token cost. Makes the Ally available to just the current character.
• Unlock to Account: Higher token cost. Makes the Ally available to all current and future characters on your account.

Conversion Requirements
Before binding, make sure:

• You have enough Account Binding Tokens in your currency inventory.
• The Ally is eligible (some special Allies, like Bruce Wayne, April Fool’s, are excluded).

Account Bound Allies
Once bound to your account:

• The Ally is visible and usable by every character.
• It will always match the Affinity Rank of the highest-ranked Ally of that type on your account.
• Multiple characters can equip it at the same time.
• It can’t be duplicated with unlock tokens.

Character Bound Allies
If bound to a single character:

• The Ally is unlocked only for this character.
• It will always match the Affinity Rank of the highest-ranked Ally of that type on your account.
• You can still unlock the same Ally on other characters later.
• It can’t be duplicated using unlock tokens, unless you are unlocking for the account.

Known Issues

• Characters unlocking the ally account-wide will not receive the feats associated with unlocking that ally
  • This impacts John Constantine and Superboy
  • Unlocking an ally to a character will unlock the feat as intended

• During the first week of Season's Greedings, all Holly Leaf vendor items, new and returning, will be discounted by 25%. This discount applies only to Holly Leaf costs.
