Summer is heating up, and that means it's time for the return of Tides of War! This year's event introduces all-new rewards including two new Power Array Augments, the Undersea Usurper Chroma Pack, Absolute Power Aquaman styles, iconic Aquaman and Black Manta base NPCs, and more!
Earn Sand Dollars by participating in seasonal content and exchange them for rewards at the Atlantean Quartermaster or Mutineer Quartermaster in the House of Legends. The event is open to players level 20 and above and runs from June 30, 2026, through July 28, 2026. Dive in and make some waves this summer!

Rekindled Pyroplasm Power Array Augment
Channel the volatile energy of Rekindled Pyroplasm, a Power Array Augment that draws from Fire abilities and makes them accessible across all powersets. This augment grants a selection of Fire-inspired abilities, including Absorb Heat, Immolation, Stoke Flames, and Backdraft, allowing characters of any powerset to incorporate fiery tools into their loadout. Characters using the fire powerset will only receive the stat buffs from this augment. No new abilities are gained.
Fully Ranked Bonuses
Tides of the Blue Power Array Augment
Wield the shifting force of the ocean with Tides of the Blue, a Power Array Augment that brings Water-inspired abilities into reach for all powersets. This augment grants access to key Water-based abilities such as Tsunami Strikes, Aqualance, Shark Frenzy, and Aquatic Arsenal, enabling new combat options regardless of your chosen powerset. Characters using the water powerset will only receive the stat buffs from this augment. No new abilities are gained.

The tides rise once more in Tides of War; the battle for Atlantis continues! Ocean Master has returned with renewed ambition and an army of mutineer Atlanteans determined to overthrow Aquaman and seize control of Atlantis. Their conflict has once again spilled into the waters off Metropolis, and heroes and villains alike are being drawn into the struggle.
Earn Sand Dollars by completing daily missions and seasonal content, then visit the Atlantean Quartermaster or Mutineer Quartermaster in the House of Legends to unlock this year's newest rewards. Track Tides of War in your Mission Journal, queue for the Atlantean Outpost Alert through the Summer Seasonal section of the On Duty menu, or use the Warp Menu to jump directly into the action.
Strait to Metropolis
Ocean Master's forces are advancing on Metropolis. Defeat mutineer Atlanteans and help repel the invasion in this daily open world mission.
Atlantean Outpost Alert
Take the fight directly to Ocean Master and his forces in this seasonal alert and earn Sand Dollars, seasonal rewards, and event progress.
Short on time? Players can spend Marketplace Currency to instantly complete the event.

Put your Aquaman knowledge to the test! Gingerbread Man will host a Summer Seasonal trivia contest featuring 10 questions focused on Aquaman, Mera, and Ocean Master during a live YouTube stream. Players can submit answers through Discord, and the first player to correctly answer each question will win a Mercian Cape Cache!

“Vacation with Powers” is a community screenshot contest where players showcase their DC Universe Online characters enjoying a summer vacation. Players are invited to submit a screenshot of their character along with a short description explaining their ideal summer vacation and how their character would spend it.
Participants will post their entries in a dedicated Discord channel during the submission period. Winners will be selected live on stream by EriolTV based on creativity, originality, and overall presentation of each character’s vacation concept. Winners will receive a Purple Lumen Mist Aura.
